Product Questions
For the service to be provided - we require Delegated Owner access to every property you want us to manage. This is the only permissions level which allows us to manage adding / removing users
You can either give us access to a google account you procure for us, or you can grant access to one of our accounts.
From time to time we need to reauthenticate - which is the reason for Lost Logic needing to have login credentials to the managing account.
We store only the metadata necessary to provide the service:
- List of Search Console properties you've connected
- User permission data (who has access, at what permission level)
- Audit logs of actions taken within LostLogic
- List of identified subdomains
We do NOT store: Search queries, CTR data, impressions, website content, or personal data beyond account management needs.
We delete all your property and user data within 90 days of cancellation, in compliance with GDPR Article 5 (storage limitation).
You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete. You can also request immediate deletion by contacting support.
No. LostLogic only manages user permissions within Google Search Console. We cannot:
- Modify your website content or code
- Submit sitemaps or request indexing
- Change Search Console settings (verification, crawl rate, etc.)
- Access other Google services (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager)
The only actions we can take are adding or removing users and reading permission data.
Not at the moment. LostLogic is a tool designed for end-user, to empower SEO teams, Data Protection Officers, CMOs and CTOs in GSC access management.
Scans run weekly (every Monday morning). When a new unauthorized owner is detected, you receive an email alert within minutes of the scan completing.
